As a means of connecting my past experiences as a civil engineer designing and building water systems, I decided to do a project to raise awareness of the impending global water crisis. The Poseidon Project offers information and techniques to easily cut down on your day-to-day water usage with simple adjustments.
The name of the initiative was derived from the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon. His name was used to connect the world's water as a precious resource that should be respected and appreciated. The final deliverables included an identity system, poster set, event materials, a website, and an app to help reduce the amount of water used when showering.
